I knew it was going to happen sometime. I finally got the 3 rings of death on my Xbox 360 last week. But I have to give credit to Microsoft for actually owning up to their problem and extending the Xbox warranty to three years after purchase. It took them a while to admit that they had a problem, but at least when they did they took care of their customers.
I’m sure they will take a huge loss of warranty extension and it will probably negate what was suspected to be their gamming division’s first ever quarter not in the red, but I’m happy because I’m getting my Xbox fixed for free.
