Our sincerest apologies for the recent lack of posts. We are currently in the process of moving to Georgia, which has made things a bit crazy. We promise that Logan is still cute and adorable, and we will get pics/videos up as soon as we get settled in the new place.
In the meantime…. we had Logan’s 6 month checkup. He’s up to 15 lbs, 2 oz and is 25″ tall. This keeps him in the 10th percentile for weight (still a shrimp, but growing appropriately). He’s dropped to the 7th percentile for height, which can’t be too surprising considering his vertically challenged genes. The nurse actually measured his height twice just to make sure, and I’m pretty sure she gave us an extra 1/4 inch just out of pity.
We’ve moved into lots of solid foods… in addition to cereal, we’ve now tried avocado, sweet potato, carrots, green beans, butternut squash, apples, and pears. Surprising likes and dislikes: Logan loves carrots, and loathes apples. We tried the apples on many different occasions, tried mixing it with other things, etc., but he found the taste every time. And gagged.
He’s bouncing now, as you can see in the video, and is rolling all over the place. No signs of crawling, but he’s definitely scooting and rolling to get where he wants to go. Still putting everything (everything) into his mouth.
We will do our best to update the website more frequently throughout this transition. In the meantime, if you know anyone who wants a beautiful home in Franklin, TN, send them to www.121cavalcade.com. We are ready to sell!!
